Testimonials for Coach Millie Calesky

Millie Calesky, a personal and professional coach, has been a guest speaker several times for the Northern Berkshire Business and Professional Women (NBBPW). Most recently she was the keynote speaker at the 2005 Massachusetts Federation of Business and Professional Western District Annual Meeting. I have found her presentations to be dynamic, insightful, and fun. Millie always engages her audience in discussion and interactive exercises. The thing I probably like most about Millie Calesky is her willingness to talk or share things about herself. She is not afraid to ask of herself what she asks of her audience. I have always come away from her presentations having identified some area in my life that could use some work. I wholeheartedly recommend her as a speaker for any group or organization.

Millie Calesky was our featured speaker at a recent meeting of the Central Connecticut Women’s Forum. Her program Think Big/Grow Big was both inspiring and entertaining, giving us real-world tips and motivating ideas. Our members felt comfortable opening up and sharing their experience and goals. Her Toastmasters experience is obvious, and our meeting that night was a success!

The members of the Phoenix Phonetics Toastmasters Club would like to say thank you for the Networking Words seminar that was held last Thursday, September 26, 2002. The program was a success! We had a good showing from employees at two of our locations, Hartford and Enfield, which is just what we were looking for.
The seminar was well worth the time. You provided helpful information on the importance and usefulness of Networking. In addition, you also provided tools and practical ideas on how to make networking successful and fun. You have a special style that puts your audience at ease and, because of this, they are willing to participate more. The seminar was very interactive and well paced. You also assisted us as a group by weaving in thoughts on the importance of Toastmasters as a great way to practice networking skills while honing one's leadership and presentation skills.
As a group, we feel that your presentation would be useful to other company associates and would be a good course to add to the list of soft skill classes currently offered by our Human Resource Department.
Thanks again.

Thank you for your recent presentation entitled Think Big/Grow Big. Your interactive program served our group well. I believe that everyone found your encouragement and expertise valuable and will implement some change to their career path as a result of your speech. The program started out with creative ways to look at life “outside of the box”, moved on to personal stories, and then progressed to participants focusing on their individual goals. I found the flow of the seminar to be very motivating and allowed the group to look at their individual goals and then share them with the group once the prepared questions were answered.
Many of the participants mentioned how much they enjoyed your talk and that they would recommend you to others. I believe that it is important to have the benefits of a personal coach during transition and growth periods to help an individual focus on their career or their life in a way that promotes a positive change within them and their daily practices. Coaches can help people reflect on what is important to them on a personal and professional level. Millie’s goal seemed to be to encourage personal success and expansion and to help business professionals whether they are seasoned or just starting out on a new life journey. I recommend Millie highly for any organization that values the personal and professional growth of their participants and for any individual who is seeking direction and guidance.

I would like to thank you for the phenomenal “Power Networking: Getting the Most out of a Trade Show” program that you presented to our membership. Your level of professionalism was first rate and the skills that you shared were of the highest quality. I personally spoke with many of the participants who expressed that the seminar exceeded their expectations. I also took away many ideas that I may implement in the future. Thank you again for your presentation and for your commitment to the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce throughout the year.

Thank you for your informative talk to the Berkshire Management Association. Your presentation was very focused and gave our group a wonderful understanding of the history of the coaching field and why it is used so extensively in the corporate world today. I especially enjoyed your personal stories, as well as your analysis of four modes of communication. It was alarming to learn how little we all focus on listening. Your presentation used the “right” mix of lecturing and interaction and it definitely drew out some lively conversation.
Thank you again for presenting to our association. I look forward to working with you again.
June Roy-Martin
2004 Co-President
